Eleana Kostakis is a staff writer at The Fordham Observer since October 2022, primarily focused on the Arts & Culture section while also assisting as the assistant arts & culture editor. Responsibilities include pitching and writing pop culture articles, collaborating across various sections of the publication, and engaging in research and photography for articles. Simultaneously, Eleana serves as a Career Ambassador at the Fordham Career Center, where innovative displays and events are created to aid student career preparation. Previous experience includes an investigative reporter internship at CityLimits, where foundational skills in writing, editing, and interviewing were developed. Eleana is pursuing a degree at Fordham University, continuing from education at World Journalism Preparatory School, where a high school diploma was obtained.
