Ricky Charriez is a Health Education Specialist at The Floating Hospital since February 2023, with a strong background in HIV prevention and community outreach. Previously, Ricky managed HIV programs at the Caribbean Women's Health Association, overseeing various aspects of program development and implementation. As Lead Navigator at Diaspora Community Services, outreach included HIV/HCV testing and counseling for priority populations in Brooklyn. Ricky also established a condom distribution network as a Community Outreach Specialist and contributed to research efforts at the PRIDE Health Research Consortium. Currently pursuing a Master of Public Health at CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy, Ricky holds a BA in Women & Gender Studies/Theatre from Hunter College and an AA in Theatre from Borough of Manhattan Community College.
