Operations Manager - Travel & Quality Assurance at The First Group

Karim Costandy has extensive work experience in the travel industry. Karim started their career at Planet Tours as a Reservation Clerk and later worked as a Reservation Supervisor and Traffic Manager. Karim then moved on to Kuoni Group as an Agents & Suppliers Manager before joining Vision Travel Services as an Operations Manager. In 2013, Karim joined The First Group as a Travel Coordinator. Karim gradually progressed to the position of Assistant Manager - Travel & Quality Assurance, where they led all operations of the department and played a significant role in client screening and relationship building. Currently, Karim is working as an Operations Manager - Travel & Quality Assurance at The First Group, responsible for managing the travel concierge department and overseeing a cross-cultural travel team. Karim has been praised for their accomplishments, including creating a travel concierge department from scratch with impressive revenue growth.

Karim Costandy's education history is as follows:

In 1985, Karim completed their high school education at Collège De La Salle. From 1997 to 2013, they attended Ain Shams University and obtained a Bachelor's degree in French Literature from the Faculty of Arts. In 2016, Karim pursued a Diploma in Foundation in Travel and Tourism from IATA Training.

In 2020, Karim obtained a Certification in Contract Law from HarvardX and a Certificate in Successful Negotiation from the University of Michigan. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Human Resource Professional Manager from the American Certification Institute in November 2021, Certified Professional Purchasing Manager (CPPM) from the American Purchasing Society in June 2020, and another Certification in Contract Law from HarvardX in May 2020.
