Maisey Jefferson serves as a Staff Editor at The Federalist since May 2023, where editing submissions and writing on politics, religion, and culture in AP style is the primary focus. With previous experience as an Editorial Intern at The Federalist, Maisey also held the position of Editor in Chief for the Gordon Review, overseeing publication logistics and contributing articles. In parallel, Maisey works as a Peer Mentor for freshman students at Gordon College, focusing on academic and social transitions. Additional roles include managing logistics and projects as a Presidential Fellow and offering writing tutorials as a Peer Tutor at The Tupper Writing Center. Maisey is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature at Gordon College, after completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Niwot High School.
