Airi Ando, OD, is an experienced optometrist currently employed at The Eye Care Group since August 2022. Prior to this role, Airi Ando completed an optometry residency at VA Medical Center - Newington Campus from July 2021 to June 2022, where responsibilities included participating in grand rounds, managing advanced glaucoma and retinal diseases, and supervising OD students. Airi Ando underwent extensive externships at various institutions, focusing on comprehensive eye examinations, ocular disease co-management, and pre- and post-operative care. Airi Ando holds a Doctor of Optometry from New England College of Optometry, along with a Master of Science in Global Medicine from the Keck School of Medicine of USC and dual Bachelor's degrees in Neuroscience and Japanese from UCLA.
