Victor Ertl has had an extensive work experience, beginning with an internship during their Dual Study Programme at Astrium GmbH in 2010. Victor then held various roles at Airbus Defence and Space, including System Engineer, Development Engineer, and Dual Study Programme. In 2016, they co-founded "The Moon Race". In 2019, they moved to Airbus, where they served as Executive Assistant to Head of Top Executive Management & Talent Acquisition. Most recently, they have been the Lead Business Development & Marketing at The Exploration Company since 2022.

Victor Ertl obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) from Hochschule M\u00fcnchen University of Applied Sciences in 2014, majoring in Geotelematik und Navigation. Victor then went on to obtain a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from Technical University of Munich in 2016, majoring in Robotics, Cognition, and Intelligence.
