Lindsey Own has extensive experience in education, currently serving as the BIG Lab Coordinator at The Evergreen School since August 2007, where responsibilities include supporting teachers and students in a makerspace environment and integrating design and building into the educational program. Prior roles include teaching biology and health concepts to middle school students, developing curricula at Northwestern University, and managing programs for the Washington State LASER initiative. Lindsey Own holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from Northwestern University and attended the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science.
