Christel Hon has extensive experience in the music industry, currently serving as Assistant Head of Music at The Esplanade Co Ltd since March 2005, where responsibilities include leading classical music events and training the acoustics team. In addition to this role, Christel holds positions as Advisor for Schola Cantorum Singapore and Adjunct Lecturer at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, providing instruction on music programmes and productions. Christel's previous experience includes serving as a Senior Producer at The Esplanade and as a member of the Board of Directors for Red Dot Baroque. Earlier academic research at UNSW focused on music psychology, education, performance research, and electronic music, culminating in a degree from the university from 1999 to 2004.
