Miranda Singer is currently a Clinical Mental Health Intern at Ramsey County, having begun the role in September 2023. Prior to this, Miranda has been a Behavioral Health Technician at The Emily Program since June 2021, primarily supervising adolescents with various diagnoses and facilitating therapeutic groups utilizing CBT and DBT skills. Additionally, Miranda serves as a Group Therapist at Lighthouse Psychological Services, Inc., facilitating therapy for clients with complex mental health diagnoses while engaging in supervision and case consults. Miranda's prior experience includes a research assistant position at the University of Minnesota, where focus was on Autism intervention research, and an internship with Tubman, contributing to violence prevention efforts through social media and blog content creation. Miranda is pursuing a Master of Social Work with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health at the University of Minnesota, expected to graduate in May 2024, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies obtained in May 2021.
