Sayda Martinez-Alvarado is a Higher Education Policy Analyst at The Education Trust, with prior experience as Head First Year Counselor and FGLI Student Ambassador at Yale College Dean's Office. At Yale, Sayda coordinated events for first-generation, low-income (FGLI) students and collaborated with a team to enhance community engagement. Sayda also served as a College Office Aide at Davenport College and held a Policy Intern position at All Our Kin, Inc., focusing on support for family child care providers. As Head Advising Fellow at Matriculate, Sayda co-led a team to recruit Advising Fellows and mentored low-income high school students through the college admissions process. Sayda's career began as an Education Policy Intern at the National Coalition on School Diversity, researching school integration strategies. Sayda holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education Studies from Yale University.
