Sydney Holmes currently serves as the Membership Manager at The Durham Museum, a position held since February 2023. Previously, Sydney worked as the Tinker Factory Coordinator at Omaha Children's Museum and as a Personal Assistant for Lillie Rose Ministries, where organizational and planning skills were utilized. Early career experiences include roles as a part-time employee at the Southeastern Quilt and Textile Museum, Graduate Assistant at the University of West Georgia Center for Public History, and Camp Counselor positions where work involved engaging with children of various ages. Sydney holds a Master's degree in Public/Applied History from the University of West Georgia and a Bachelor's degree in History Education from Shorter University.
