Chris Suquitana is a dedicated paralegal currently working on the Detained Minors Project at The Door - A Center of Alternatives since June 2023. Previous experience includes roles as a Community Fellow with Immigrant Justice Corps and as an Immigrant Justice Corps Community Fellow with Volunteers of Legal Service. Additional internships at Al Otro Lado focused on family reunification efforts, while prior fellowships with the Watson Foundation and Coalition for Juvenile Justice involved research on youth incarceration and mental health disparities. Chris Suquitana also gained experience as a receptionist and legal assistant at the Law Office of Teodora Arias, and as an intern with the NYC Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs and the New York State Assembly, connecting constituents with essential resources. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Queens College (2018-2022).
