Partner and lead trial attorney Scott Peebles has garnered a distinguished trial record over 20 years of litigation. He derives professional satisfaction from helping people who have suffered catastrophic accidents and severe injuries due to the recklessness or negligence of others.
Scott has tried over 40 jury trials to verdict. He has also drafted and argued more than 100 writs and appeals, including 12 appearances in state Supreme Court and one in the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Throughout his career, Scott has tried a wide range of jury trials. One of the most prominent was a $30.2 million dollars mesothelioma verdict he won where the defense offered only $2 million to settle during the actual trial. Scott graduated from the University of New Orleans with honors. He earned his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2000. While in law school, Scott served as a member of the simulated court board and captain of the school’s Philip C. Jessup International law simulated court team.
Scott is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and California. In his spare time, he enjoys working out, hiking, playing softball and reading.
