Michael Bowers is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within various organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Finance Officer at The Disability Trust since February 2024, Michael previously held the position of Chief Financial and Information Officer at ERMHA from May 2019. Prior to these roles, Michael was the Finance Director at Honan Insurance Group, where significant changes were implemented during the company's expansion from February 2017 to February 2019. As CFO at Yooralla from November 2011 to January 2017, Michael led a transformation of the Finance function amid substantial organizational changes. Michael's earlier career includes 16 years at Spotless, where various financial and commercial roles were undertaken, providing expertise in executive collaboration, organizational change, mergers and acquisitions, and process re-engineering. Michael is also a participant in the CPA Australia Program.
