Don Griswold is a Senior Fellow at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, focusing on eradicating abusive tax avoidance and promoting inclusive prosperity through research-based analysis. Previously, Griswold served as Executive Tax Counsel at Berkshire Hathaway Inc., providing advice to various business units. As an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Law Center, Griswold taught state and local tax law. Prior experience includes serving as a Partner at McDermott Will and Emery, where Griswold advised large corporate clients on tax matters, and as National Partner-in-Charge of State Tax Technical at KPMG, co-building a practice of over 600 professionals. Educational credentials include a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago and a JD from Boston University School of Law.
