Michael Howes is an experienced sports journalist currently serving as a Baseball Beat Writer for The Diamondback, where coverage includes Maryland's baseball team, along with podcast hosting at Testudo Times, analyzing University of Maryland athletics. Additional roles include freelancing for The Washington Post covering high school sports and previously serving as a Lead Writer for the Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts in the Cal Ripken League. Early experience includes internships and positions with PressBox Media and Terrapin Sports Central, as well as various customer service roles at Playa Bowls and GrillMarX Steakhouse & Raw Bar. Michael Howes is pursuing a degree at the University of Maryland after graduating from Our Lady of Good Counsel High School.
