Ed Ballotts has experience as a staff photographer at the South Bend Tribune from 1976 to 1998. Ed also held the role of Deputy Director of Photography at The Detroit News.

Ed Ballotts earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of St. Thomas, where they studied from 1965 to 1969.
