Karla Madera is an experienced program manager and operations research analyst currently serving at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security since September 2020. With a background that includes roles as a district youth chairperson at Lions Clubs International and membership chair at Prospanica DC, Karla has demonstrated leadership in various capacities. Previous experience includes positions at FEMA and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where industrial engineering and cost analysis skills were applied, along with a brief tenure at FEI-Elcom Tech, Inc. and the State of NY Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Educational accomplishments include a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and an Associate of Arts degree from Passaic County Community College.
