Rob Hill's work experience begins in 2005 as a Production Supervisor at Borgers USA Corporation, where they achieved a 98% delivery accuracy and reduced the return rate by guiding the team to produce parts with less than 5% defects. Rob was later promoted to Operations Manager, responsible for supervising 14 production team members.
In 2014, Hill joined Faurecia as a Jr. Faurecia Excellence Systems Specialist, demonstrating strong leadership skills and contributing to the development and implementation of job descriptions. Rob was promoted to Employee Empowerment Specialist, where they coached supervisors and team leaders to improve training practices and contributed to the development of supervisors and team leaders. Rob also played a role in improving employee compensation, benefits, and training policies. Hill then became a Production Control and Logistics Supervisor, reducing expedite costs and improving safety measures.
Since 2016, Hill has been working at The Denver Foundation, where they started as the Director of Operations. In this role, they oversaw facilities operations and managed a comprehensive new employee onboarding program. Rob contributed to the development of the organization's cultural framework and staff's racial equity competency. Currently, they are the Director of Human Resources.
Rob Hill is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management from Colorado State University Global, with an expected completion date in 2022. Rob previously attended Alabama State University, where they were a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication, Public Relations. Rob Hill has also obtained various certifications related to human resources and workplace learning from LinkedIn, including "Fair and Effective Interviewing for Diversity and Inclusion" in September 2023, "HR Guidelines Everyone Should Know" in September 2023, "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging" in July 2023, "Human Resources Foundations" in July 2023, "Succession Planning" in July 2023, "Strategic Human Resources" in March 2023, "The Future of Workplace Learning" in July 2022, "Agile Project Management Principles" in November 2018, and "Human Resources: Building a Performance Management System" in November 2018.
