Manuel Balmont Pineda has a robust background in agricultural engineering, currently serving in the agricultural technical department at DCOOP since June 2019, focusing on field advisory services, integrated pest management, and farmer education. Previously, Manuel held the position of agronomist at FruitSelect SAT from December 2018 to June 2019, managing teams and technical operations in fruit orchards. Early career experiences include internships in integrated pest management at Frutos Moratalla and lifeguard roles at Grupo BCM. Manuel earned a Master's degree in Agricultural Engineering from the Universidad de Córdoba, complementing an undergraduate degree in Agri-Food and Rural Engineering from ETSIAM.
