Fred Abrams has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Fred is the author of a book on dealing with the loss of a spouse and rebuilding one's life. Fred also owns and serves as the President of The Dayton Group, Inc, where they provide consulting and training in project management and business process re-engineering. Fred specializes in helping clients establish and launch projects, as well as rescuing projects with technical, budget, or schedule issues. Fred is an expert in the business case approach to federal project management mandated by the OMB 300. Additionally, they have served as an International Project Manager for the Dayton Rotary Club, leading a project to establish a self-sufficient sanctuary for AIDS orphans in Africa. Fred has also owned their own company, Pinnacle Products Group. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Integrated Weapon System Management and Vice Commander of the Logistics Operations Center in the USAF, where they led business process re-engineering efforts for the Air Force Materiel Command, involving 100,000 people and a $40 billion budget. Fred Abrams PMP, CPL has a diverse education history. Fred received their PhD in Creativity in Project Management from the University of Southampton in 2009. Earlier, in 1974, they obtained their MS degree in Systems Management from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology. Prior to this, they completed their undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis, where they earned an AB degree in Mathematics from 1961 to 1965.
