Kate Powell, CFA, currently serves as Associate Director at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation, focusing on biotech, developed markets public equity, real estate, and cryptocurrency, while managing the Endowment Management Investment Fellowship summer program. Previous experience includes roles as MBA Summer Associate at the University of Pennsylvania’s Office of Investments, where Kate engaged in real estate and private equity manager due diligence, and as Senior Analyst at The Investment Fund for Foundations, specializing in hedge fund research and analysis. Earlier career experiences include research assistance at the Council on Foreign Relations and various positions in educational and development roles. Kate holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School and a BA in History with a minor in Political Science from Stanford University.
