Thomas Baden is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in leadership roles within the newspaper industry. Currently serving as Editor at The Daily Record since March 2014, Thomas has successfully expanded special publications and enhanced the publication's digital presence. Prior positions include Editor at The News-Times during the tragic Sandy Hook incident, Editor at Connecticut Post, Executive Editor at The Salt Lake Tribune where efforts were made to diversify the newsroom and improve publication design, Managing Editor at The Patriot-News, and White House and National Correspondent for Newhouse News Service, covering significant political events. Thomas began a career in journalism as City Editor and Reporter at The Post-Standard after earning a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Maryland.
