Norika Takada Ireland is an accomplished arts educator and designer with extensive experience in teaching and jewelry design. Currently, as a faculty member at The Girls' Middle School since August 2014, Norika develops curricula for primary art, metalsmithing, and ceramics, while also launching innovative programs such as metal shop and ukulele. Additionally, Norika serves as a faculty member in the Jewelry Department at The Crucible since May 2005, conducting highly rated classes and integrating art history and environmental themes into lessons. As the owner and designer at Iron Studio / Norikat Designs, Norika creates custom fine jewelry and manages sales. Previous experiences include teaching at Woodside Priory School, working as an associate at Mansoor and Gore Jewelers, and serving as Senior Production Manager at Philippa Roberts Jewelry, where Norika led a team in innovative jewelry design for a global market. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Applied Arts/Metalsmithing from Fu Jen Catholic University and professional training in simultaneous interpretation from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
