Michael Brauer has extensive experience in the fields of music education and human resources. Currently serving as Human Resources and Family Services Support at The Cradle, a non-profit adoption agency in Evanston, Illinois, Michael contributes to the organization's mission as it celebrates its 100th year. In addition to this role, Michael has been a teacher of voice, piano, and recorder at the Old Town School of Folk Music since October 2019 and has sung with the Chicago Symphony Chorus since 1995. Previous positions include Administrative Assistant at the Music Institute of Chicago, Cantor/Organ Assistant and Front Office Manager at St. Matthias Catholic Church, and singer with the Grant Park Music Festival. Michael also served as Director of Music at St. John's Episcopal Church from 2012 to 2014. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance and a Master of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from Northeastern Illinois University.
