Runako K. currently serves as Assistant General Counsel at the Court Services and Offender Supervision Agency, providing legal counsel on various federal law matters. Additionally, Runako serves as a Board Member for the Maryland Open Meetings Compliance Board, appointed by Governor Wes Moore, and is a volunteer Board of Trustee Member and Chair of the Fundraising/Advancement Committee at Christ Episcopal School. Past experience includes roles such as Title IX administrator at Hood College, Assistant Attorney General and FOIA Officer for the District of Columbia, and Deputy General Counsel to the Mayor. Runako's professional background also encompasses prosecutorial work with the United States Attorneys' Offices and the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. Runako holds a JD from Tulane University Law School and a BA in Political Science and French from Morgan State University.
