Brooke Shafer, MA, LPC, LCPC, currently serves as a Psychotherapist and internship coordinator at The Counseling Center Group, where responsibilities include providing psychotherapy, comprehensive Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and clinical supervision to graduate mental health counseling interns. Prior experience encompasses roles such as Middle School Mental Health Counselor at Creative Minds International Public Charter School, Team Lead at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington's Child and Adolescent Mobile Psychiatric Services, and various internships focused on therapeutic support for children and adolescents. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling & Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington.
