Usma Mohamed has a strong background in marketing and brand management. Usma currently serves as the Vice President of Brand Experience and Marketing at The Council for Professional Recognition, where they shape the organization's strategy and leads marketing, branding, communications, and public relations efforts. Prior to this, Usma was the Head of Global Marketing at International Baccalaureate, overseeing the execution of marketing communications strategies globally. Usma also worked as the Sr Marketing Director at GuideStar and as an Online Marketing Manager at Symantec Corp, where they developed and implemented online marketing strategies. Usma's experience demonstrates their expertise in driving marketing initiatives, managing teams, and building strong relationships within organizations.

Usma Mohamed is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education - EdD degree in International Education at National University, which is expected to be completed between 2020 and 2024. Prior to this, they obtained a Master of Science - MS degree in Nonprofit and Association Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. They also hold a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Management Studies with a specialization in Marketing from the University of Maryland. Additionally, Usma Mohamed has obtained a certification in Social and Behavioral Educational (SBE) from the CITI Program in February 2022.
