Ariel Spiegelman has held various roles in the field of art education. Currently, they work for The Contemporary Austin as the Art School Director and have been in this position since May 2023. They also served as the Art School Faculty and Manager of Registration and Student Affairs at the same institution. Prior to that, Ariel worked at the Bay Area Discovery Museum as the School and Community Partnerships Program Coordinator, where they facilitated educational programming for children and developed curriculum. They also worked at Thinkery as the Instructional Lead Educator and served as an Arts Integration Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin. Ariel's experience also includes roles as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at the Blanton Museum of Art, Teen Programs Teaching Assistant at The Contemporary Austin, Program Facilitator at the Denver Art Museum, and Education Coordinator at The William Benton Museum of Art.
Ariel Spiegelman obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) in Printmaking from the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Art Education at The University of Texas at Austin, completing their degree from 2015 to 2017.
