Munira Z. Gunja is a Senior Researcher at The Commonwealth Fund with experience in health policy, health care coverage, and access. Prior to this, they worked as a Social Science Analyst at the US Department of Health and Human Services and as an Epidemiological Research Analyst at the National Cancer Institute. They also have experience as a Health Promotion Intern at the New Orleans Children's Health Project. Munira holds a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) in Epidemiology from Tulane University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Public Health and International Development from Tulane University.
