Dr. Richard Gakuba is an accomplished health informatics expert currently serving as the Program Director at The Commons Project Foundation since August 2022, where leadership is provided for the "Health My Way" initiative, supported by the Mastercard Foundation. With extensive experience in digital health and eHealth consultancy, Dr. Gakuba has held roles such as Digital Health Expert at Enabel and Senior Health Informatics Consultant at ICAP at Columbia University. Previous positions include Health Information Specialist at Jembi Health Systems NPC and Strategic Information Advisor to the Liberian Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. Dr. Gakuba's academic background includes an MSc in eHealth from Brunel University London and a degree in Medicine from the National University of Rwanda.
