Lionel de Waal is a seasoned professional in data and analytics with extensive experience in business intelligence roles. Currently serving as Senior Manager: Data and Analytics at The Coca-Cola Company since February 2023, Lionel previously held the position of Lead: Data & Analytics at The HEINEKEN Company from August 2018 to February 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing data insight initiatives and managing analytics teams. Earlier, Lionel worked as a Senior Business Intelligence Developer and BI Analyst at The HEINEKEN Company, and held various analytical positions at Eskom, including BI Support Analyst and Systems Analyst. Lionel holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from Tshwane University of Technology and a National Diploma in Information Technology from Central University of Technology.
