Martin Muthukia serves as a University Lecturer at The Co-operative University of Kenya since June 2022. Previously, Martin held positions including Attache at the National Disaster Operations Centre, where duties involved coordinating national disaster management activities, and Field Assistant at the Africa Waste and Environmental Management Centre, contributing to environmental impact assessments for a hydro-power project. Martin also completed a Graduate Trainee program with the Nairobi City County Government focusing on disaster management. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Disaster Risk Management from The Co-operative University of Kenya and ongoing pursuit of a Master of Arts in Crisis Response and Disaster Management from the International Peace Support Training Centre. Additional training includes completion of a program in Leadership for Change with a focus on visionary leadership.
