Lisa Ivans has extensive experience in elementary education, currently serving as a Flex Track Combo Teacher for grades 4-6 and Reading Interventionist for grades 3-7 at The Classical Academies since August 2014. Lisa has spent seven years mentoring new teachers through the California teacher induction program and previously designed and implemented the "Flex Track" interdisciplinary program for grades 3-5. Prior teaching roles include First Grade Teacher at both The Classical Academies, where a hybrid homeschool/workshop model was utilized, and Tri-City Christian School, as well as First and Second Grade Combo Teacher at Faith Community School. Lisa holds a Master of Education in Literacy from the American College of Education and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Arizona Christian University.
