Kayla Bonser is a skilled professional with a solid background in civil engineering and mathematics. Currently working as a Traffic Engineering Intern at the City of Pleasanton since October 2021, Kayla is involved in collecting and organizing traffic data, updating city maps with GIS software, and assisting with project plans and traffic control device installations. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Assistant at the San José State University Research Foundation, where contributions were made to Cal-Trans' Joint Training and Certification workshops. Kayla has also worked as a Mathematics Tutor at West Valley College, providing support in various math courses, and as an Engineering Instructor at Play-Well TEKnologies, integrating STEM concepts with hands-on learning. Earlier experience includes instructing swim techniques at De Anza Cupertino Aquatics. Kayla Bonser holds a Civil Engineering degree from San Jose State University, an Associate of Science in Mathematics from West Valley College, and a high school diploma from Lynbrook High School.
