John Powers currently serves as a City Council Member for The City of Lake Forest since April 2023. Prior to this role, John accumulated extensive experience in the corporate sector, including positions such as National Accounts at Abbott, Vice President of Pharmaceutical Contracting at WithMe Health, and various leadership roles at North American Corporation, including Vice President of Business Development and Director of Business Development. At Envision Rx, John held the position of Senior Vice President of Business Development, focusing on specialty pharmacy strategies. John also served as General Manager for US Account Executives at Abbvie, Inc. and as General Manager for National Accounts at Abbott Laboratories. John is an alumnus of Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, where a Master of Business Administration in Marketing was earned, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
