Javier Setovich, PE, is an experienced professional in public works and water services, currently serving as Deputy City Manager for the City of Buckeye since November 2022. Prior to this, Javier held the position of Director of Public Works with the City of Goodyear from September 2015 to November 2022, overseeing water and wastewater operations, water resources, facilities, fleet, and solid waste. Additional roles include Deputy Director of Water Services for the City of Glendale AZ, Construction Superintendent for the City of Peoria, Maintenance Superintendent at Contra Costa Water District, Maintenance Manager for the San Francisco Utilities Commission, and Chief Stationary Engineer at San Francisco International Airport. Javier holds an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering Technology from California State University Maritime Academy, and a Professional Certificate in Facilities Planning and Management from the University of California, Berkeley.
