Karen Poste currently serves as the Manager of Physician Recruitment and Retention for the City of Belleville since January 2023. Prior to this role, Karen Poste was the Manager of Economic Development and Strategic Initiatives for the City of Belleville from 1999 to January 2023, where responsibilities included attracting jobs and business investments, as well as recommending business-friendly projects and policies. Karen Poste's earlier career includes a position as a Planner for the Township of Thurlow/City of Belleville from 1989 to 1999, overseeing various aspects of land use planning. Karen Poste holds a degree in Economic Development from the University of Waterloo and a diploma in Marketing from St. Lawrence College. Education was completed at Cannifton Corbyville Public School and Quinte Secondary School, Belleville.
