Eric Naki is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in political reporting and editing. Currently serving as the Senior Political Journalist and Political Editor at The Citizen newspaper in Johannesburg since September 2016, Eric has previously held positions such as Correspondent for the Associated Press and Deputy Editor at Growth Magazine. Eric's career began at the Daily Dispatch, where roles included News Editor and Political Editor. Eric's freelance work for Reporters Sans Frontières highlighted the challenges faced by journalists in Southern Africa during apartheid. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Science from the University of South Africa and has a long-standing commitment to political journalism.
