Carissa Kahl has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as a Human Resources Operations Lead Analyst - Data Management at The Cigna Group since June 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Human Resources Operations Lead Analyst - Service Delivery at the same company from June 2022 to June 2023. Before entering these roles, Carissa was a Talent Solutions Senior Analyst from July 2019 to June 2022 and an HR Consulting Analyst from January 2019 to July 2019, both at The Cigna Group.
Outside of their work at The Cigna Group, Carissa has also held various other positions. From April 2016 to present, they have been an Assistant Cheerleading Coach at Tri-West Senior High School. Carissa was a Tumbling Instructor at Cole Academy from January 2013 to May 2013, where they instructed students and coordinated private lessons with parents. Additionally, Carissa worked as a Cheerleading Instructor at Varsity Spirit from May 2011 to January 2013, where they effectively communicated with parents and instructed large classes of 6th-12th grade participants.
Carissa's early work experience includes being a Summer Intern at the Emergency Operations Center in June 2015 and a Teacher's Aide at Ball State University from January 2012 to May 2013. Carissa was also a Community Assistant at Campus Crest from September 2012 to January 2013, where they gathered new prospects and provided excellent customer service.
Carissa Kahl holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Indiana Wesleyan University, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Health/Health Care Administration/Management at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale. Carissa began their higher education at Ball State University from 2011 to 2013 as an undecided transfer student.
