Kayson Brown is an accomplished musician and educator with extensive experience in orchestral direction and music instruction. Serving as the Director of the Lyceum Orchestra Program at American Heritage School since October 2006, Kayson oversees a diverse program consisting of four orchestras for students aged 5 to 18. In addition to this role, Kayson founded and directs the Lyceum Music Festival, which collaborates with the Utah Symphony and attracts participants from around the globe to enhance their orchestral skills. As a Suzuki-certified private instructor, Kayson also maintains a private cello studio. Additionally, Kayson serves as a Music Reader for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and previously held positions as an Adjunct Cello Professor and Orchestra Conductor at Brigham Young University, as well as Director of Education at The Music School. Kayson holds a Master of Music in Instrumental Conducting from Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from the University of Utah.
