Michael Pratten's work experience includes serving as the Chief Investment Officer and Director for The Church of England Pension Board since November 2020. Prior to this, they were the Interim Chief Investment Officer and Director for London LGPS CIV Limited from May 2019 to December 2019. From January 2014 to April 2019, they worked as the Chief Investment Officer for Canopius Group. Michael also has experience as the Chief Investment Officer and Director for Coal Pension Trustees Services from September 2008 to June 2012. Before that, they held the position of Director Asset Allocation UK & EMEA at Wellington Management Limited from July 2006 to September 2008. From December 1996 to June 2006, they served as the Chief Investment Officer for Equitas Limited. Additionally, they were the Global Deputy Head of Research at Kidder Peabody & PaineWebber from June 1993 to July 1996, and the Deputy Head of Research at IBJ International from January 1992 to June 1993. Michael started their career as a Senior Fixed Income and Currency Manager at Prudential Portfolio Managers from September 1986 to January 1992.
