Helen Rimmer is a communications professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades in various roles within the nonprofit and health sectors. Currently serving as the Communications & Engagement Coordinator for the Net Zero Programme at The Church of England since July 2023, Rimmer previously held positions such as Communications & Engagement Manager at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust and Communications Lead for NHS Hampshire & IOW at Solent NHS Trust. Experience includes managing communications for Christian charity Counties, where Rimmer was responsible for writing and editing the quarterly magazine Ignite, as well as developing marketing strategies at the Bible Society. Educational qualifications include a National Council for Training of Journalists certification in Newspaper Journalism from the University of Central Lancashire and A levels from Birkenhead Sixth Form College.
