Stacy Palmer has a extensive work experience in the field of journalism and publishing. Stacy began their career at The Chronicle of Higher Education in 1982 as a Senior Editor, and held this position until 1988. During this time, they also took on the role of Senior Editor at The Chronicle of Philanthropy, starting in 1984. In 1988, Stacy joined The Chronicle of Philanthropy as an Editor, and later became the Chief Executive Officer in 2023.

Stacy Palmer attended Brown University from 1978 to 1982, majoring in International Relations.
