Disrupting Exploitation Project Worker at The Children's Society

Amaani H. is an experienced Emotional Health and Wellbeing Practitioner currently employed at The Children's Society since October 2022, providing therapeutic support to children aged 5 to 18 affected by domestic abuse. Previously, Amaani served as a project worker within the Disrupting Exploitation team, collaborating with Manchester City Council's Early Help Inclusion team and Complex Safeguarding Hub to address child exploitation risks. Prior roles include Individual Support Worker at William Henry Smith School and Support Worker at Vision for Education, along with earlier experience as a Reception Assistant at Amaana Spa. Amaani holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Liverpool and a Postgraduate Degree in Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Wolverhampton. A Levels in Psychology, Sociology, and R.E. were completed at Huddersfield New College.
