Katie Brennan, a New York City native, graduated from Dartmouth College and went on to work in publishing and then serve as a volunteer tutor in an afterschool program for disadvantaged children. Her experience as a tutor inspired her to pursue a master’s degree in Education at Boston University. Katie worked as a classroom teacher and admissions associate for three years before leaving the workforce to start a family with her husband.
