Shana Starr is a dedicated workforce development program instructor at Community Services for Every1 since June 2023, with a rich background in education and child development. Previously, Shana served as a charm school instructor for Modern Charm Schools from January 2013 to January 2020, focusing on lessons in self-confidence, manners, and etiquette for children aged 7 to 17. Shana's earlier experience includes roles as a counselor and assistant site leader in the Amherst Central School District from January 2001 to June 2012, where responsibilities involved guiding children in after-school activities and ensuring their safety and engagement. Shana also has experience as a cosmetologist, managing a chair rental business at The Buzz from January 2009 to January 2011, providing customer service and skill development. Education includes IT support training from Merit America and a licensed cosmetology degree from Leon's Studio One School of Hair Design. Shana is currently pursuing further education at the State University of New York at Fredonia.
