Lyneir Richardson has had an extensive career in various roles related to economic development, entrepreneurship, and real estate. 👊🏾 Lyneir has served as the Assistant Professor of Professional Practice and Executive Director at Rutgers Business School since 2014, where they are known for their expertise in teaching entrepreneurship and economic development courses. Additionally, Richardson has been the Chief Executive Officer of The Chicago TREND Corporation since 2014, overseeing a social enterprise aimed at stimulating retail development and neighborhood transformation. From 2009 to 2014, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Brick City Development Corporation, playing a vital role in driving economic growth in Newark, New Jersey. Richardson also held the position of Vice President - Urban Retail Development at General Growth Properties from 2004 to 2008, where they successfully implemented a national initiative to develop shopping centers in major U.S. cities. Prior to that, they founded LakeShore Development in 1995 and served as President, growing the company from a start-up to a full-scale operation. 👊🏾 Lyneir also gained experience as Vice President at Thrush Companies and as an attorney at First National Bank of Chicago, handling complex real estate transactions and litigation matters.
Lyneir Richardson holds a J.D. degree from the University of Chicago Law School and a BS degree in Communications from Bradley University.
