Shannon Palmer is a highly experienced public relations and communications professional currently serving as the Senior Public Relations Manager at The Chicago School since December 2023 and as a Communications and Marketing Consultant for Build Scale Grow, Inc. since March 2022. Prior experiences include a Public Relations and Marketing Consultant role for Chicago Learning Exchange, as well as a Senior Manager of Public Relations at the Art Institute of Chicago, where substantial media relations efforts generated $50 million in earned value and increased visitor engagement. Shannon has demonstrated expertise in developing comprehensive marketing strategies, managing crisis communications, and leading diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and History of Art from the University of Michigan.
