Matthew Liston is a skilled professional with extensive experience in research and development within the field of healthcare. Currently serving as the Professional/Clinical Lead for the Community Health Services Discovery project at the Professional Record Standards Body since August 2023, Matthew previously held the position of Head of Research and Development at The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, where responsibilities included enhancing member access to evidence and data. Earlier roles included Research Fellow at King’s College London, focusing on augmented reality balance training for older adults, and leading the UPWARD study at the University of Western Sydney on low back pain predictors. Matthew has also contributed to educational initiatives as a lecturer and module lead in physiotherapy at various universities. Academically, Matthew holds a Ph.D. in Physiotherapy and has degrees in both Physiotherapy and Zoology from King's College London and the University of Reading, respectively.
